As an action, a character can brace a weapon against an surface that provides it support and/or improve stability for a shot. It will offset 1 point of penalties that may be incurred to his Shooting roll while the weapon is braced. Additionally bracing a weapon reduces the minimum Strength requirements to use the weapon (if any), by 1. Items that one could use as a brace are interpretative and up to the GM. Window frames, tree limbs, car hoods or trunks are all examples of surfaces a character could brace a weapon against.
